Galapagos Seaman Journey services
The M/C Galapagos Seaman Journey is one of the most luxurious boats cruising the Galapagos Islands. This is due to our dedication in designing the most comfortable catamaran available. We have worked with the same passion and dedication to create a standard of service that is second to none (worldwide).
All of our guides are certified by the Galapagos National Park and have gone through intensive training programs. They have several years of experience and a strong passion for sharing their knowledge of the wildlife, biology, geology and natural history of the islands. You will find that your guide is obsessed with the conservation of the Islands and is very strict when it comes to following and enforcing Galapagos park guidelines and rules. Your guide will be eager to share his knowledge, giving on-sight briefings during your shore excursions as well as evening lectures.
Crew to passenger ratio
Our crew to guest ratio is almost 1 to 1 (11 crew members for 16 passengers). We are the only small yacht in the Islands to have a 24/7 cruise director on board. Each of our crew members has several years of experience and share in our vision of offering the finest experience to our guests. We are prepared to pamper you and offer you your creature comforts so that your visit to the Islands is to admire the survival of the fittest without having to endure it.
A well equiped boat
You will find that apart from being a spacious and comfortable yacht, the M/C Galapagos Seaman Journey carries state of the art navigation and communication equipment onboard. It also carries snorkeling gear, wetsuits, sea kayaks, a DVD player with a flat screen TV and other amenities for your entertainment.
Great shore excursions
Our shore excursions are packed full of several activities and lots of fun. A typical visit to a landing site includes a nature hike, zodiac ride, snorkeling or kayaking and of course time out to relax on the beach. Throughout these activities, your guide will bring out the best of the Islands, sharing knowledge and fun facts about the Islands natural history.
After a full day of visits you will get to learn a little more about the sights you visited and will be able to ask your guide specific questions about wildlife, geology, marinelife, biology, and other topics that interest you regarding the Islands. You will find your evening briefings are also a great opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers and share anecdotes from the days activities.
Fine dining and cuisine
Each meal on board is a treat for the taste buds as our chef prepares the finest international and local dishes using fresh ingredients of the highest quality. All meals include the choice of meat, poultry or seafood. We can also cater for vegetarians and individuals with other dietary choices and needs. Salads are freshly tossed and fresh fruit is always available. We also have a selection of the best wines from around the world to compliment your meals if that is your beverage of choice. If not we have a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to take your fancy.
